Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions (QISG) seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager – Substation to lead critical utility projects in Florida. You will oversee the full lifecycle from scope through commissioning, ensuring constructibility, standards compliance, and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with engineering, construction, and client teams, drive risk mitigation, manage budgets, and promote safety, quality, and integrity while advancing grid modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in electric utility engineering or management for high-voltage projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver complex projects on time and budget.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual to closeout phases, ensuring scope, deliverables, and design meet standards.
• Coordinate with engineering partners and client teams, monitor KPIs and risks.
• Facilitate design reviews, constructability reviews, and project planning.
• Ensure compliance with ANSI, IEEE, NEC, and other codes and company procedures.
