Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager – Substation in Boise to lead multi-discipline teams across the full project lifecycle, from proposal through commissioning. You will ensure design quality, manage scope and schedules, and coordinate with clients and partners to deliver safe, reliable electrical substations.

The role requires 10+ years in the electric utility sector, a BS/MS in engineering from ABET-accredited programs, and a preference

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the electric utility industry performing engineering related duties and/or management for high voltage electrical projects.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Bachelor of Science or Graduate degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project coordination across all lifecycle phases from proposal to closeout.
• Lead conceptual, preliminary engineering, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities for substation projects.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are complete, constructible, and compliant with standards and project schedules.
• Manage performance of engineering partners and review KPIs with senior leadership.
• Develop training strategies to elevate team proficiency and support business development through client engagement.
