Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Substation Engineering Manager to lead and grow a talented team delivering critical power infrastructure projects across North and South America. Qualifications

• BS/BA with 12+ years of related experience and at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of substation engineers.
• Build strong relationships with utility, renewable energy, and industrial clients.
• Support the successful delivery of substation projects from planning and design through construction support.
• Provide technical oversight and QA/QC across projects.
• Partner with regional leadership to grow the business and identify new opportunities.
• Help drive technical excellence, safety, and innovation across projects.
• Lead recruitment, career development, and team engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM's Energy practice.
