Job summary

AECOM is seeking a project leader to manage the full lifecycle of high‑impact engineering projects in the energy sector. The role involves coordinating design teams, subcontractors, and clients across multiple US locations, while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The candidate will oversee feasibility through commissioning, drive risk management, and contribute to business development. Remote work is possible, with occasional travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 6 years of PM experience.
• PM experience on power generation projects.
• Experience delivering complex engineering projects and/or programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from basis of design through commissioning and closeout.
• Lead internal and external stakeholders; coordinate with global teams.
• Own internal project financials, staffing, risk management and legal coordination.
• Support business development; write proposals and present to clients.
• Ensure delivery aligns with design, budget and schedule across teams.
