Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineer II - P&C to join our electric substation design team. You will apply NESC, NEC, and industry standards to produce one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, and protection and control specifications for high-voltage projects.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet milestones, support procurement and construction, and help coordinate with transmission and distribution engineers. A B.E.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years related HV substation design experience.
• EIT Certification.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation.
• Strong NEC/NESC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage (4kV-230kV) and EHV substations; create schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Develop protection and control specifications and I/O mapping (preferred).
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to meet milestones.
• Support procurement and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
