Job summary

The Perry Group, part of CDM Smith, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substation experience to lead complex projects in the U.S. You will define scope, schedule, budget, and objectives, and coordinate with clients and engineering teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include managing costs and profitability, preparing client billings and change orders, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and mentoring junior project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares statements of work with budgets and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and ensures profitability.
• Creates and reviews client billings; ensures timely client payment and approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Coordinates and reviews subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Prepares overall project schedule, budget, and monthly reports.
• Facilitates meetings with stakeholders and mentors junior managers.
• Coordinates with Project Construction Manager for bid/pre-bid activities and closeout meetings.
