Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience to lead complex projects from definition through closeout. You will create schedules, budgets, and objectives, manage costs and profitability, and coordinate with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing change notices, preparing and distributing reports, and mentoring junior managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures and budgets.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Creates and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Coordinates and reviews change notices and contract modifications.
• Leads meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supports engineering for code reviews and issue resolution.
• Prepares monthly reports, bid packages and addenda.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
