Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substation experience to lead major projects across the United States.

Responsibilities include defining scope, schedules, and budgets; managing costs and profitability; coordinating with clients and engineers; reviewing invoices and changes; and mentoring junior Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Monitors project risks and escalates appropriately.
• Coordinates and monitors technical work of each task/deliverable.
• Prepares monthly reports and bid packages.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
