Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with extensive substations experience. The role involves creating definitions, schedules, and budgets, managing costs and profitability, and coordinating with internal teams and clients to drive project success.

You will prepare detailed statements of work, monitor risks, and lead meetings, ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required and minimum 13 years of relevant work experience.
PMI/CCM/DBIA or equivalent certification within 12 months of hire or promotion on Approved Project Manager list.
Significant design-build/EPC experience with substations preferred.

Responsibilities

Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures and secure approvals from stakeholders.
Manage project costs and profitability.
Prepare and review client billings and ensure timely payments; approve subcontractor invoices.
Monitor project status, risks and changes; escalate as needed.
Coordinate with Project Construction Manager for bid setup and results tabulation.
Lead meetings with stakeholders and mentor junior project managers.
Prepare monthly reports, bid packages, addenda and closeout documentation.
