Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. in Eagan, MN is seeking a #3 Subscription Services Operator for the 1st shift. You will perform set-up tasks, monitor equipment, and troubleshoot on Core Print Solutions. Eligible for a $2,500 after three months, with overtime and weekend options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Strong mechanical/technical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and production orders.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements.
• Perform set-up tasks.
• Monitor equipment and product quality; obtain maintenance support as needed.
• Troubleshoot simple to moderately complex product or equipment issues.
• Communicate effectively during shift and hand-off.
• Document activities in Tier Boards and SAP.
• Assist with feeding, catching off, stacking, packaging, or inventory cycles.
• Participate in safety programs and contribute to a safe culture.
• Generate and sustain continuous improvement ideas; participate in project teams.
• Provide back-up for other operators as needed; support process improvements.
