Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a #2 Press Operator for the Eagan, Minnesota printing plant. You will be a Mid-Level Operator on the Core Publishing Solutions team, operating offset and digital web presses.

Eligible for a $2,500 bonus after 90 days and earn a 3rd shift premium of $5.00/hour, with overtime and weekend shifts possible. Responsibilities include reviewing specs, setting up equipment, monitoring runs, debugging issues, and maintaining documentation in MII and SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Experience working with production machinery in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and production documents.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements.
• Perform or delegate set-up tasks.
• Monitor equipment and product through the job run for quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues.
• Communicate during shift hand-off and maintain records in systems (MII, SAP).
• Document activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems.
• Provide work direction to others as needed.
• Assist with safety programs and housekeeping.
• Participate in project teams and suggest improvements.
