Job summary

Thomson Reuters Foundation is seeking a #3 Operator in Press for our Eagan, Minnesota printing plant. You will support production on state-of-the-art presses, perform setup, quality checks, and materials staging as part of the Core Publishing Solutions team.

The role requires reading job specs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety. A High School Diploma or higher is expected, with preferred vocational/technical training; lifting and physical requirements apply, with opportunity for a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher (vocational degree preferred).
• Experience in an industrial setting with maintenance or troubleshooting of production machinery.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills; able to read rulers and measurements.
• Thorough understanding of electrical safety and PPE usage.
• Able to lift at least 5 lbs overhead and up to 50 lbs occasionally; stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew on the press, perform setup and production activities, especially on the back-end of presses.
• Prepare for jobs by reading the DSR and job specs; stage materials.
• Quality check products; complete transactions and tag/bundle items.
• Fill in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators as needed during absences.
• Monitor equipment and product quality; document activities in Tier boards and SAP/MII.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety training.
