Job summary

Serco seeks a Contractor Program Manager to support Navy submarine program offices from Reston, VA. You will partner with government and contractor teams to manage schedules, staffing, budgets, and reporting, delivering complex technical programs on time and within scope.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and proven leadership of diverse teams in fast-paced environments. Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or Management.
• Significant submarine operations and maintenance experience; leadership demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contractor Program Manager in a deputy capacity in day-to-day operations (PMO tasks).
• Lead job description development, resume reviews, and interviews.
• Oversee onboarding processes; manage timecards and financials.
• Compile, edit and submit weekly, monthly and annual reports.
• Engage frequently with government clients to align on needs.
• Hire, retain, and manage 5–15 personnel for submarine programs.
• Oversee subcontractors to meet govt requirements and staffing needs.
• Identify talent and opportunities for contract growth and BD.
• Provide training on submarine operation, risk management and certifications.
