Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a visionary leader to support the Undersea and Submarine Programs portfolio under the PAE model. The role focuses on cradle-to-grave acquisition, lifecycle sustainment, and strategic contracting for advanced undersea platforms, requiring a DoW Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Travel about 25% and matrix leadership across government, industry, and internal teams are expected. The Director, Business Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight,

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Program Management, Operations Management, Acquisition, or related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in complex government/defense programs.
• Experience managing large-scale government contracts or programs.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.
• Experience engaging senior government, military, industry, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise government and industry stakeholders on program execution and strategic priorities.
• Engage with senior customers and maintain relationships across the Undersea Warfare Enterprise.
• Conduct independent assessments of program performance, schedules, and readiness.
• Identify risks and improvement opportunities; provide actionable leadership recommendations.
• Evaluate performance metrics and support informed decision-making.
