Serco Inc. seeks a Naval Shipyard Sr. Advisor to liaison with the DRPM Subs program office and provide technical, logistical, and management support at private shipyard facilities, aiding cost, schedule, and performance of submarine maintenance and modernization at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.

Bring your expertise to influence the Team Submarine organization, improve cross‑functional communication, and ensure successful in-service submarine support for the U.S. Navy.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent experience with 10+ years in submarine maintenance).
• 10 years of submarine maintenance and modernization experience preferred.
• Supervisory/leadership experience desired.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and resolve submarine maintenance availability issues; propose corrective actions.
• Monitor and inform shipyard managers on cost, schedule, and performance across planning/execution phases.
• Participate in technical reviews, develop management metrics, and establish benchmarks.
• Evaluate life cycle maintenance and modernization plans; develop contingency plans/schedules.
• Support engineering reviews, audits, and program policy decisions; provide information to DRPM Subs PMS392 Program Office.
