Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Contractor Program Manager to support Navy submarine programs (PMS 397, NAVSEA 05Z, AUKUS). You will partner with the Deputy PM, oversee staffing (5–15 personnel), and manage reports, timecards, and finances.

Expect frequent senior-level engagement and strong MS Office use in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. You must hold an active DoW Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship, with a relevant degree or substantial submarine operations experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree as specified or significant submarine experience in lieu of degree.
• Significant submarine operations and maintenance experience (5+ years).
• 3 years of experience leading teams and managing personnel.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contractor Program Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Develop job descriptions and conduct resume reviews/interviews.
• Manage onboarding, and prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
• Oversee timecard and financial management.
• Engage with government clients to understand and fulfill needs.
• Hire and manage 5–15 personnel to support submarine programs.
• Assist in subcontractor management as deputy PM.
• Contribute to business development and proposal support.
• Provide training to government and contractor staff as needed.
• Present information clearly to senior management.
