Job summary

Serco is seeking a Contractor Program Manager to support Navy submarine programs, providing deputy leadership to the CPM and coordinating with government offices. You will develop job descriptions, screen resumes, interview candidates, onboard staff, and manage reports, timecards, and financials.

You will mentor junior personnel, engage with senior government clients, and help manage 5–15 staff and subcontractors to advance submarine acquisition initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Applied Sciences/Management.
• Significant submarine operations/maintenance experience (5+ years).
• 3+ years leading teams and managing personnel.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Support the Contractor Program Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Develop job descriptions and participate in resume screening and interviews.
• Lead onboarding processes and staff development.
• Compile, edit and submit weekly, monthly and annual reports; manage timecards and finances.
• Engage with government clients to understand program needs and ensure alignment with Submarine acquisition programs.
• Hire and directly manage 5–15 personnel to support technical submarine programs; oversee subcontractors as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to government and contractor personnel.
