Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Insurance Clerk in Ridgeland, MS to verify insurance compliance for subcontractors. You will review General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Professional Liability, and Auto policies, and process waivers as needed.

Key tasks include renewing documents, assisting with vendor setups, and documenting activities in the JDE system while coordinating with the Purchasing Department. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Knowledge of ISO and manuscript insurance forms and endorsements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Handle non-compliance issues with subcontractors, their insurance agents and/or D.R. Horton’s insurance monitoring service (EBIX).
• Request renewal insurance documents from subcontractors and/or their insurance agents.
• Assist Purchasing with insurance reviews for new vendor setups.
• Document insurance compliance activities in JDE.
• Generate OCIP/Wrap-Up enrollment reports and address enrollment concerns.
