Job summary

RNGD is seeking an Insurance and Bond Specialist to support insurance and surety bond activities for RNGD and Pontchartrain MEP with a focus on subcontractor compliance. You will request and organize policies, certificates, and bonds, perform completeness checks, and maintain tracking systems to ensure renewals and outstanding requirements are managed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, insurance, business, construction management, or related field; P&C license preferred.
• 2–5 years in construction, insurance, bonding, contract administration, or related field.
• Experience with certificates of insurance, endorsements, payment and performance bonds, subcontractor compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Request and organize insurance policies, certificates, endorsements, and other required evidence of coverage from subcontractors based on contract requirements.
• Perform preliminary completeness checks using approved requirements and certificates of insurance.
• Maintain accurate insurance and bond logs, expiration dates, renewal dates, and outstanding items.
• Coordinate follow-up with subcontractors, brokers, sureties, and internal teams.
• Route bond documentation to Insurance Manager for review and final approval.
• Assist with administration of Subcontractor Default Insurance and Subcontractor Prequalification programs.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Insurance Manager and Risk Management team.
