Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Business Development Director to plan, organize, and direct the department to maximize visibility as the sub-acute provider and help increase census in accordance with Life Care standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, 3+ years of business development experience, and healthcare familiarity. Strong communication, driving license, and proficiency with MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field from accredited college or university or equivalent experience
• Three or more years of successful business development experience
• Experience in health care preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate business development programs
• Develop new business for facility
• Develop and implement census development plans
• Meet and/or exceed budgeted census and quality mix goals
• Recruit, select, train, counsel, and supervise business development staff (if applicable)
• Conduct facility tours to potential patients, families, and educate them on key benefits of the facility
• Effectively manage and operate within budget
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach and move intermittently during working hours
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
