Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Florida seeks a Business Development Director to lead the department, expand census, and ensure compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, 3+ years in business development, healthcare experience preferred, and strong communication.

You will oversee programs, develop new business, manage budgets, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or related field from accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) or more years' successful business development experience.
• Experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate business development programs
• Develop new business for facility
• Develop and implement census development plans
• Meet and/or exceed budgeted census and quality mix goals
• Recruit, select, train, counsel, and supervise business development staff (if applicable)
• Conduct facility tours to potential patients, families, and visitors and educate them on key benefits of the facility
• Effectively manage and operate within budget
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Assist in the evacuation of patients
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
