Job summary

HKS, Inc in the United States seeks a Mental & Behavioral Health Studio Practice Leader to oversee the studio and multiple project teams delivering design, development and delivery of solutions for MBH facilities.

You will lead strategic planning, mentor designers, coordinate with office leaders, manage client relationships, and ensure high quality documentation and outcomes. This role travels as required and aligns with design measures and firm priorities.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Licensure or certification preferred.
• Typically 15+ years of experience with leadership in project work and talent development.
• Subject matter expertise in MBH facilities design including inpatient/outpatient and related care settings.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• Familiarity with Vision and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversees studio projects focusing on process, delivery, environment and documentation.
• Leads strategic planning and allocates resources with studio leaders.
• Partners with studios to advance firm goals and client relationships.
• Guides programming, schematic design through construction documentation.
• Provides leadership and mentorship to design teams.
