Job summary

HKS, Inc. seeks a seasoned Mental & Behavioral Health Studio Practice Leader to manage the studio and multiple project teams focused on design, development and delivery of mental and behavioral health facilities.

You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, mentor designers, and collaborate with office directors to align with firm priorities and strategic goals, ensuring high-quality documentation and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, related field, or equivalent experience.
Licensure or certification in chosen field preferred.
15+ years of leadership experience with project and talent development.
Experience in planning/design of MBH facilities including private/public sectors and rehabilitation centers.

Responsibilities

Oversees projects across the studio focusing on process, delivery and documentation.
Collaborates on strategic planning and resource allocation with studio leaders.
Partners with studios to advance firm-wide strategic goals.
Leads design development from programming to delivery with clients.
Mentors designers and guides design direction and critiques.
