HKS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mental & Behavioral Health Studio Practice Leader to oversee the studio and multiple project teams focused on design, development and delivery of health facilities.

The role emphasizes leadership growth in relationship-building, collaboration and interpersonal skills across great projects for premier clients. The leader will guide strategy and design across the studio, mentor designers, and ensure high quality documentation and client satisfaction while

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• 15+ years in leadership roles with project and talent development success.
• Subject matter expertise in mental & behavioral health facility design.
• Sustainable design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee studio management and multiple project teams delivering health facilities.
• Lead strategic planning, allocate resources and guide marketing collaboration.
• Direct client interface, maintain relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor designers, guide design direction and lead critiques.
• Coordinate with office directors to align with firm priorities.
• Ensure timely delivery, staffing optimization and project documentation.
