Job summary

Playwright Co is seeking a Studios Supervisor to oversee on-site operations at South Oxford Space (Brooklyn) and Spaces@520 (New York). The role reports to the Director of Facilities and coordinates with the People and Culture team to manage part-time staff and facilities.

The position will supervise Studio Rental Associates, Custodians, and Building Attendants, ensure policies are followed, and drive training, scheduling, and performance reviews to deliver excellent guest experiences across

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary supervisor and day-to-day contact for Studio Rental Associates, Building Attendants, and Custodians.
• Communicate workplace policies and staff expectations clearly to the part-time team.
• Partner with the Director of People and Culture on employee relations, performance concerns, and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor part-time staffing needs and coordinate recruitment with People and Culture.
• Lead training, onboarding, and ongoing performance support for customer interactions.
• Create and maintain schedules and coordinate coverage as staffing changes.
• Review and approve biweekly timesheets in SwipeClock.
• Ensure annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for staff and 30-day new-hire completion.
• Foster culture of member service, facility function, and staff satisfaction; conduct 360 reviews.
• Provide training on SOR systems and policies for the Studio Rental Associate team.
• Support physical plant management: supervise Custodians, track inventory, maintain cleanliness.
• Manage vendor relationships for facilities and major systems as needed.
• Identify maintenance needs and assist with upgrades and vendor coordination.
• Other duties as assigned.
