Job summary

Studs is seeking a Studio Manager in Chicago to lead the Studio’s operations and drive a best-in-class customer experience. You will guide a high-performing team, manage both retail and piercing operations, and own revenue growth while upholding safety and service standards.

This hands-on leadership role requires 2+ years of management experience, on-site availability, and a passion for delivering results through people.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a customer-facing environment; experience with jewelry, piercing, or retail services a plus.
• Proven ability to lead a team of 7+ employees including roles with specialized skills.
• Must be on-site five days per week (40 hours) with open evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Weekend availability required; typical days off midweek; full-time commitment to Studs.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move at least 20 lbs; follow health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Owns Studio performance, drives revenue growth and sales plans.
• Reviews business reports to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
• Oversees scheduling, labor allocations, and payroll accuracy through audits.
• Maintains high operational standards, ensuring compliance with piercing procedures and safety protocols.
• Leads a service-driven team and coaches members to achieve goals.
• Builds a collaborative culture across the Studio and with Piercing Leadership.
