Job summary

Stretch Zone is seeking a Studio Manager to lead daily studio operations, drive membership growth, and manage the sales team to achieve revenue goals. You will coach staff, monitor KPIs, and maintain a high‑quality member experience in a dynamic wellness studio.

You will oversee scheduling, payroll, and local marketing initiatives, while building community partnerships and ensuring staff accountability and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in fitness, wellness, retail, hospitality, or a studio environment.
• Proven track record in sales, membership growth, business development, or revenue generation.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, staffing, and day-to-day operations.
• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for health, wellness, fitness, and helping people.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
• Experience working with CRM systems to manage leads, track sales activity, maintain member information, and support follow-up and conversion efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day studio operations to ensure a seamless, welcoming, and professional member experience.
• Monitor and manage KPIs, including conversion rate, utilization, retention, and sales performance.
• Track daily and weekly sales results and take action to address performance gaps.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and other administrative studio functions while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
• Lead the hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and development of sales associates.
• Coach and develop the Sales Associates to help them achieve individual and sales goals.
• Establish expectations and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Drive membership sales and ensure studio revenue and membership growth.
• Develop local marketing initiatives, events, and community partnerships to increase studio awareness and generate leads.
• Handle member questions, concerns, feedback, and cancellations with professionalism and empathy.
• Create a studio environment where members feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve wellness goals.
• Conduct sales demos and focus on converting sessions into memberships with a 40%+ close rate.
• Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals for the studio and Sales Associates.
• Run weekly sales meetings to review performance, discuss goals, and provide coaching.
