Job summary

Rowan is seeking a Studio Manager for our Downtown Birmingham ear piercing studio. You will lead daily operations, coach a team of nurses and sales associates, and ensure a safe, celebratory customer experience.

Drive sales, manage inventory, and maintain brand standards while coordinating with corporate on launches. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in retail management, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Customer-obsessed with a track record of delivering memorable experiences.
• Proven ability to drive sales and store profitability.
• Excellent customer service skills and flexible scheduling (weekends/holidays).
• Comfortable using technology, POS, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer experience on the selling floor, ensuring a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere.
• Lead, coach, and develop studio staff to meet Rowan’s safety standards and sales targets.
• Manage inventory, POS accuracy, and adherence to SOPs while controlling loss.
• Drive sales and optimize appointments, inventory sell-through, and staffing coverage.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training for staff; coordinate with marketing and product launches.
• Prepare reports on studio performance and coordinate budgets and expenses.
