Squeeze Massage is seeking an energetic General Manager to lead our San Mateo studio with enthusiasm and strategic vision. This hands-on role oversees daily operations, drives sales growth, and ensures outstanding guest experiences.

You will coach a high-performing team, recruit and schedule staff, and partner on local marketing. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in fast-paced hospitality, wellness, or retail service, and a passion for health and wellness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years working in high-volume retail service businesses.
• Proven ability to build consistent, recurring retail business and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Experience leading and developing a sizable front-line team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day studio operations and team performance.
• Drive membership, retail and overall studio revenue.
• Recruit, onboard, coach and retain a high-performing team.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Build schedules and ensure appropriate staffing.
• Manage payroll/timekeeping, inventory and operational controls.
• Partner on local marketing and community relationships.
• Address team and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
