Squeeze Massage is seeking an energetic General Manager to lead our San Mateo studio with enthusiasm and strategic vision. This hands-on role oversees daily operations, drives sales growth, and ensures outstanding guest experiences.

You will coach a high-performing team, recruit and schedule staff, and partner on local marketing. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in fast-paced hospitality, wellness, or retail service, and a passion for health and wellness.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 + bonus potential
Schedule: Full-time; Wednesday-Sunday availability required

• You are an experienced, business-savvy and people-oriented General Manager with 3+ years working in high-volume retail service businesses.
• You prioritize over-the-top, first-class guest service as well as driving a bottom line.
• You create a motivational environment where your team is passionate about delivering an amazing guest experience, each and every time.

• You have a hospitality orientation, are gracious and patient, and warm in nature with strong communication skills.

Experience

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality, wellness, fitness, retail, spa, or service business preferred.

• Experienced in operating a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Experience leading and developing a sizable front-line team.
• Advanced expertise in recruiting, onboarding, and developing a team
• Inventory management and scheduling expertise
• Must be available to work Wednesday-Sunday weekly
• Proven track record in building consistent, recurring retail business, and delivering an exceptional guest experience
