Job summary

SPENGA is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily studio operations, from bookkeeping to brand development. You will lead sales of memberships, manage staff, and promote a positive SPENGA culture in the Santa Cruz studio.

The role includes training, event planning, and community outreach, with performance-based bonuses, employee discounts, and ongoing development opportunities. A dynamic, upbeat leader is essential for success.

Qualifications

Strong management and leadership abilities.
Ability to create a successful environment for staff and clients.
Previous sales experience required; fitness industry or high-end goods & services preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and exceed sales and retention expectations from lead generation, nurture, to sale of membership.
Manage all operational aspects of the business including but not limited to: ordering supplies, equipment maintenance, scheduling, cleanliness.
Lead, train, motivate, and manage all staff to represent SPENGA.
Sell memberships and retail.
Retain and increase client participation.
Submit accurate and timely reports.
Plan and promote entertaining and productive events through community outreach and business partnerships.
As a SPENGA ambassador, managers will promote, sell, and add to the SPENGA culture in and out of the studio.
