Job summary

Musicologie McDonough is seeking a Community Manager (Studio Manager) to lead our on-site studio, nurture students and families, and create a welcoming, high-energy environment during peak after-school hours. You will oversee enrollment inquiries, events, hiring and training of teachers, daily studio operations, and payments, with compensation of $43,000-$46,000 per year plus incentive pay.

This role reports to the Studio Owner and requires a musician mindset, leadership, strong communication,

Qualifications

• Musician, amateur or professional, capable of engaging creative staff and students.
• Strong leadership to motivate a diverse team of teachers and staff.
• Clear communicator in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with project completion focus.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn our studio management software, Slack and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the warm, welcoming face of Musicologie, especially during peak after-school hours, ensuring a delightful experience for everyone.
• Act as the primary point of communication for scheduling, policies, and studio events.
• Plan, organize, and conduct inspiring community events and student concerts.
• Manage new student inquiries and guide enrollment from first call to first lesson.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of our music teachers.
• Oversee daily operations, studio supplies, payments, and data accuracy.
