Job summary

The University of Vermont is seeking an administrative coordinator to support the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, the Rehabilitation and Movement Science department, and the College of Health and Nursing Sciences. The role focuses on clinical education coordination, site coordination, student orientation, and data management, with on-campus duties at two locations.

Responsibilities include maintaining compliance, supporting accreditation processes, and assisting the Dean’s office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage administrative activities that support the OTD program, the RMS department, and the CNHS.
  • Provide administrative support for the OTD, RMS, and CNHS Dean’s office, including clinical education coordination and accreditation tasks.
  • Assist with site coordination, slot requests, student orientation and advising, software and database management.
  • Note: travel may be required and a probationary period may be required.

Job description

This position is 37.5 hours per week. Coordinate and manage administrative activities that support the Doctor of Occupational Therapy ( OTD ) program, the Rehabilitation and Movement Science ( RMS ) department, and the College of Health and Nursing Sciences ( CNHS ). Responsibilities include supporting OTD clinical education, including but not limited to clinical site coordination, slot requests, student orientation and advising, software and database management, compliance, evaluation, and accreditation. Responsibilities also include providing administrative support for the OTD , RMS , and CNHS Dean’s office.

A probationary period may be required. This position is expected to be working on campus at 2 different locations due to the essential functions. Some travel might be required to attend training for professional development.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree with more than one year of relevant experience related to the responsibilities.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and survey applications.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, work, and make decisions independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with student information systems and education management platforms.
  • Experience of working in a clinical setting and/or with clinical populations.
  • Experience of purchasing reconciliation.
  • Expertise in navigating and utilizing multiple software programs.
Anticipated Pay Range

Anticipated Pay Range $26.00 - $28.00
