Job summary

NHTI – Concord’s Community College is seeking a Part-Time Student Support Counselor I (25 hours per week) in the Student Success Center to support student wellness and behavioral health through assessment, outreach, and coordination of services.

The role emphasizes timely response to student concerns, confidentiality, and collaboration with campus resources, reporting to the Vice President of Student Success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health field (counseling, social work or psychology) OR bachelor's degree with related study.
• Two years of social work or mental health counseling experience preferred.
• New Hampshire driver’s license or access to statewide transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-clinical case management and coordinate services.
• Support early intervention and liaise with campus/community resources.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA, Title IX, Clery Act and policies.
• Participate in orientations, events and committee work.

Education

Master's degree in mental health
