Job summary

UNC Greensboro is seeking an Assistant Dean of Students (Case Manager) to lead case management for the Behavioral Assessment Team and the Erase Hate campaign. The role focuses on early intervention, information gathering, referrals, and continuity of care across campus partners.

The position requires a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in higher education or equivalent settings, with strong collaboration and communication skills and willingness to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include ability to handle confidential information with discretion and strong cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and advocacy to students to promote well-being, retention, and success.
• Serve as a resource to students, faculty, staff, and families by resolving concerns, referring to campus resources, and interpreting policies.
• Assist students experiencing distress or challenges that impact academic/personal success.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support student needs and foster a culture of care.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to student crises or emergencies.
