Job summary

Wake Forest University is seeking a CARE Case Manager to coordinate routine and crisis case management for students, faculty, staff, and the community. This role involves education, outreach, data collection, and collaboration with university partners to ensure comprehensive support through the Office of the Dean of Students.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong communication, confidentiality, and crisis response

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Human Services, Higher Education, Counseling Divinity, or related field with two years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with groups and work in a team environment.
• Ability to assess information regarding identified needs for case management, caring outreach, and persons of concern.
• Ability to professionally manage sensitive, private material and information.
• Knowledge of risk factors and warning signs related to potential campus violence and community.
• Ability to summarize large amounts of information, document electronically, and communicate with stakeholders.
• In times of crisis, night and weekend availability may be required.
• Knowledge of WFU and community resources for referrals.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services for students, staff, and faculty in crises and connect them with on- and off-campus resources.
• Document weekly team meetings, emergency meetings, and daily activities in electronic records.
• Support CARE Team activities and attend meetings as required.
• Collaborate with campus partners to achieve case management goals.
