Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Manager of Student Union Operations for the Joe Crowley Student Union. The role oversees training and supervision of approximately 180 student employees, volunteers, and graduate assistants, ensuring secure and smooth 24/7 operations during evenings and weekends.

Working with the Associate Director, you will interpret policies, coordinate facility usage and programming, and oversee maintenance and setups with the Event Management team and custodial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of related experience OR a master’s degree and one (1) year of related experience.
• Related Experience: business operations or related.
• Experience coordinating large student staff and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training and supervision for approximately 180 student employees, volunteers, and graduate assistants.
• Oversee security and emergency response for the Joe Crowley Student Union, including 24/7 operations during evenings and weekends.
• Interpret and implement university and Student Union policies for facility usage and programming.
• Oversee facility maintenance and setups with the JCSU Event Management team and coordinating custodial crews.
