Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Jeromesville, OH seeks a Part-Time LifeWise vehicle driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and a caring demeanor.

You will ensure vehicle cleanliness, perform inspections, obey traffic laws, and support LifeWise in classroom activities when agreed with the Director. A clean driving record and appropriate licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver’s license with at least three years licensed.
• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement for 15+ seating if applicable.
• Age 21–80; drivers over 75 may require additional documentation.
• Clean driving record with no major offenses in the last five years.
• Background check and annual physician’s statement for medical conditions.
• Drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Enforce safety rules and assist students entering/exiting the vehicle.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed with the Director.
