Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time vehicle driver in Ohio to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires punctuality, a clean driving record, and a mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities include transporting students and volunteers, adhering to traffic laws, maintaining bus cleanliness and safety, and performing regular inspections.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church with matching doctrine.
• Regular driver’s license; copy may be on file.
• CDL with passenger endorsement or 15-passenger van license as required.
• Ages 21–80; additional docs for drivers over 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Follow all traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for students and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting the bus and monitor behavior.
• Optional: volunteer in LifeWise classrooms if approved.
