Tulane University is seeking a Technical Advisor to help students choose the right technology for their majors and assist with basic computer tasks, including WiFi login.

Paid training is included. The role is an on-campus student position with an hourly pay rate of $13.00. Ideal candidates are enrolled at Tulane in their first or second year and enjoy helping others with technology.

• Excellent verbal skills and outstanding English language skills.
• Enjoy working with people and helping them solve problems.
• Customer service background or a retail store background.
• Understands technology well, and can help students understand how to use computers and iPads and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with basic computer functions (e.g., logging into WiFi).
• Facilitate our repair program and our laptop loaner program.
• Provide guidance on using computers and software to students.

• Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
• A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)
