Job summary

Lansing Community College is seeking a FT Support - Student Support Services Specialist to deliver student-centered service within the Center for Student Support. The Specialist greets and assists students, provides general college information and supports intake and appointment scheduling per established procedures.

This in-person role is primarily located in the counseling suite and may require evening and Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Administrative, operational or office support experience.
• Experience using computer systems, databases and MS Office.
• Customer service experience in a service environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students; provide general college information.
• Support intake and appointment scheduling following procedures.
• Assist with service counter operations and multi-channel inquiries.
• Provide training/direction to student employees as needed.
• Support event coordination, purchasing, room reservations and data reporting.
