Job summary

Lansing Community College in Lansing, MI is seeking a part-time Support - Customer Relations Specialist in Technology Resources. You will assist students and campus guests with technology resources, lending equipment, and basic on-site tech support across downtown and west campus.

The role requires flexibility for morning, evening, and weekend shifts; up to 28 hours per week, with on-campus presence and potential hybrid scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service.
• Experience using a variety of computer technologies.
• Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work a variable schedule including morning, evening, and weekend shifts at both downtown and west campus locations.
• Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience working in a higher education setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal or external customers at various LCC campuses.
• Assist with technology resource lending and tier 1 technical support for onsite and mobile resources.
• Communicate complex and confidential information effectively.
• Work independently and in teams to resolve diverse issues in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within a multi-cultural community.
