Job summary

Lansing Community College is hiring a Student Employee for the Adult Resource Center at the Downtown Campus. This pooled posting supports the 2026–2027 academic year; positions are filled as needed and applications are reviewed when positions arise.

Under supervision, Student Employees assist with resource navigation, referrals, student food pantry operations, departmental communications, data entry and outreach activities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and actively attending the following total LCC credit hours per semester: Fall and/or Spring Semester(s) = 6.0 credits minimum (over 16 weeks); Summer Semester = 3.0 credits minimum (over 8 weeks)
• 2.00 GPA minimum (unless first semester or waived)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Actively pursuing a certificate, associates, or undergraduate degree at Lansing Community College
• International students (F-1) must meet minimum enrollment: Fall/Spring 12.0 credits; Summer 3.0 credits min

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, student-centered support to students, employees and community members seeking information, services and resources.
