Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Instructional Support Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. You will work closely with teachers and special education staff to support students with diverse learning, developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

A typical day includes one-on-one, small-group, and classroom support, reinforcing lessons, and helping students develop essential skills in a collaborative school setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructional plans, classroom procedures, and behavioral support strategies.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons, activities, and routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks and skill development.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and classroom modifications.
• Help students stay engaged and participate in activities.
• Develop academic, communication, social-emotional, and life skills.
