Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Instructional Support Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year in a school-based setting. You will work with teachers and special education staff to support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and small-group instruction, reinforcing routines, and assisting with IEPs and classroom modifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months in educational setting with behavioral challenges preferred.
• Experience with children, adolescents, or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to follow instructional plans and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons and classroom routines.
• Assist with academic tasks, skill development, and accommodations.
• Support IEP implementation and classroom modifications as directed.
• Maintain documentation and communicate observations to the school team.
• Provide personal care assistance when required.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
