Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is hiring Instructional Support Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. You will work in school-based settings providing one-on-one, small-group, and classroom support to students with diverse needs.

The role emphasizes assisting teachers, implementing IEPs, and building life skills in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates bring experience with children or individuals with special needs, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow

Qualifications

• HS transcript or equivalent with an associate degree or higher (GPA 2.0+).
• Sixty college credits from an accredited institution.
• ParaPro Test score 459 or higher.
• DEEDS certification (Instructional Para Certificate).
• Experience with children, adolescents, or individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons, activities, and routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks and skill development.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and classroom modifications.
• Help students stay engaged and participate in activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and administrators.
• Maintain accurate student records and required documentation.
