Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Instructional Support Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. You will work closely with teachers and special education staff to support students with diverse needs in both general and special education settings.

This role offers full-time opportunities in a school-based environment, one-on-one or small-group support, and a chance to help students build academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and life skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow instructional plans, classroom procedures, and behavioral strategies.
• English proficiency is required.
• Experience as paraprofessional or related role is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons and classroom routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks and skill development.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and modifications.
• Help students stay engaged and participate actively in class.
• Develop academic, communication, social-emotional, and life skills.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the school team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
