Job summary

Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Student Success Coordinator who is student-centered, data-informed, and outcomes-driven to support retention and certification from onboarding through graduation. You will build strong relationships with students, proactively addressing barriers and driving outcomes related to persistence and program completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in student services, advising, career services, workforce development, recruiting, or related support role.
• 1 year of related experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of students and meet defined performance metrics (retention, certification readiness/attainment, graduation progression).
• Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for assigned students throughout their academic journey.
• Drive retention and certification outcomes through early intervention, milestone tracking, and follow-up.
• Accurately document all student interactions and outcomes; participate in reporting and audits.
• Support and participate in student success events and collaborate with other departments as needed.
