Job summary

Miami University seeks a Student Services Advocate in the EMSS One Stop department to deliver high‑level, front‑line services to students and families. You will resolve inquiries related to registration, billing, and financial aid with empathy, accuracy, and a focus on a seamless student experience.

This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to manage records and collaboration with campus partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Knowledge of FERPA and university regulations is preferred.
• Experience with student information systems and CRM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional, student‑centered customer service and resolves complex issues via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in person.
• Counsels students and families regarding financial aid, billing, and registration processes.
• Serves as a liaison for students navigating university systems and collaborates with campus partners.
• Manages records and supports outreach, communications, and documentation.
