Job summary

Miami University is seeking a Sr Student Services Technician to support admission, registrar, and student financial aid operations. The role involves handling communications with prospective students and applicants, managing forms, and ensuring smooth day-to-day processes.

The position requires experience in student services and strong knowledge of policies and data management. This hourly, regular position is based on campus with a 40-hour week and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires eighteen months of coursework or training beyond high school and three years of admission, registrar or student financial assistance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Review and release admission decisions for all campuses with accuracy
• Deliver recruitment emails, texts, and mailings to prospective students and manage automated communications
• Maintain applications, forms, checklists, and status pages for recruitment and admissions
• Manage event registration websites, forms, reporting, check-ins, and surveys
• Support prospective student processing and maintain integrity of recruitment and aid data
• Monitor and improve operations of admission, registration, and financial assistance
• Act as information resource for students and families; interpret policies and resolve issues
• Oversee admission/registration and financial aid transactions; coordinate related tasks
• Generate department reports and analyze program data
